NSB staff members unite to celebrate Christmas and share Joy with children
The Christian Society of National Savings Bank (NSB) successfully hosted the annual Christmas Carols services on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, spreading festive joy and reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to uplift the community.
The event, held at NSB Head Office premises, was graced by the presence of the Chairman, Dr. Harsha Cabraal PC, the Board of Director Mr. S R W M R P Sathkumara, the General Manager/CEO, Mrs. Shashi Kandambi, Deputy General Managers Mr. Rohana Weerakoon, Ms. Devika de Silva, Ms. Anusha Fernando and Mrs. Karnika Jayathillake, the members of the Senior Management and staff members of the Bank.
The event provided a meaningful platform for NSB staff members to showcase their artistic talents while embracing the spirit of Christmas while reflecting the unity, creativity and teamwork among the staff members.
As a part of the event, gifts were distributed among the needy children who were affected by the recent floods, sharing the magic and happiness of the festive season, with them.
The Chairman Dr. Harsha Cabraal, PC thanked the staff members of the Bank for their enthusiastic participation in the Christmas carols service, which was a wonderful opportunity to showcase their talents. He also appreciated the gesture of sharing the joy of the season with children, emphasizing the need of promoting the values of unity, compassion and togetherness throughout the year.
