NSB Pettah Branch relocated
Having opened in 1984, the Pettah Branch of National Savings Bank (NSB), had delivered a supreme customer service during the past 40 years and with a view to offering a better banking experience to the customers of the area, the Branch was ceremoniously reopened recently at a new location, at No: 24, Malwatta Road, Colombo 11.
The Deputy General Manager (Operations), Ms. Nalika Wijesinghe and Deputy General Manager (Administration), Ms. Anusha Fernando graced the occasion. The Assistant Divisional Secretary, of Divisional Secretariat, Colombo, Mr. R A Suranjith Sameera, Assistant General Manager (Operations) of National Savings Bank, Mr. Janaka Herath, Assistant General Manager (Marketing), Ms. Dulakshi Perera, Assistant General Manager (Branch Banking), Mr. Suranga Baduge, the Manager of Pettah Branch, Mr. Ruwan Epa, several state officers and representatives of the business community were also present at the event.
The first day deposits were handed over by the distinguished guests and the first deposit was handed over to the Deputy General Manager (Operations) of National Savings Bank, Ms. Nalika Wijesinghe, by the Accountant of the Cooperative Welfare Society of Sri Lanka Port Authority, Ms. P D Karunarathna.
The relocated branch, which consists of a spacious premise and modern banking amenities including an ATM, looks forward to ensuring an enhanced customer service to the people of the area.
