Mr. Rohana Bandara Weerakoon Takes Over the Reins of NSB as GM/CEO
Mr. Rohana Bandara Weerakoon has assumed duties as the Acting General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of the National Savings Bank (NSB).
A simple ceremony, held with religious observances and in compliance with the prevailing regulations in the country, marked the occasion.
Mr. Weerakoon, a seasoned banker and administrator with over 28 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Sector, previously served as the Deputy General Manager (HRD) of the Bank.
The event was attended by the Chairman of NSB, President’s Counsel Dr. Harsha Cabral, members of the Board of Directors including Mr. Dushyanta Basnayake and Mr. Supul Wijesinghe, along with other distinguished guests. The Corporate Management and representatives of Trade Unions were also present.
