Empowering Women Through Savings & Digital Banking – Women’s Day 2026
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, National Savings Bank (NSB) proudly launches a special island-wide program to promote the ‘Sthree’ Savings Account and accelerate digital adoption through the NSBPay App.
Beginning from 1st to 8th March 2026, the campaign aims to register 5,000 Sthree Account holders to the NSBPay App and encourage greater use of secure digital payments. The first 5,000 customers who register and link their Sthree Account to the NSBPay App during the campaign period, and complete their first successful payment, will receive a 10% cashback (up to Rs. 500) on eligible bill payments.
In addition, to further encourage savings amongst women, NSB introduces a special Women’s Day offer from 9th March 2026 onwards. Sthree Account holders who make a minimum deposit of Rs. 7,500 will receive the exclusive recipe book ‘Wild Cookbook Recipes’, featuring creations by renowned culinary content creator Mr. Charith Silva, founder of Wild Cookbook — available while stocks last.
Through this initiative, NSB reaffirms its commitment to empowering women, promoting financial independence, encouraging savings, and strengthening digital engagement across Sri Lanka.
Terms & Conditions
- The Women’s Day Special Cashback Promotion (hereinafter referred to as the “Promotion”) is open to all National Savings Bank NSB Sthree Account holders.
- This Promotion is applicable only to NSB Sthree Account holders who newly register and link their account to NSBpay during the campaign period.
- Limited to the first 5,000 eligible fresh registrations.
- The Promotion is valid for eligible domestic payments made during the campaign period from 01st March 2026 to 08th March 2026.
- Only the first successful payment transaction will qualify.
- Eligible NSB Sthree Account holders will be entitled to 10% cashback on the first successful payment transaction, subject to a maximum of LKR 500.00 per customer.
- This offer is valid only for domestic transactions conducted within Sri Lanka.
- Only one cashback will be granted per NSB Sthree Account holder. Regardless of the number of transactions made, only the first eligible payment transaction during the Promotion period will qualify for cashback.
- Fund transfers, credit card payments, reversed, cancelled, or failed transactions will not qualify for cashback.
- The cashback amount will appear in the account statement for the month of April 2026.
- Cashback will be credited to the respective NSB Sthree Account on or before 08th April 2026.
- The general NSB NSBpay App terms and conditions shall apply where relevant.
- In the event of any dispute regarding this Promotion, the decision of National Savings Bank shall be final and conclusive.
- National Savings Bank reserves the right to amend, modify, extend, suspend, or withdraw the Promotion and/or its terms and conditions at its sole discretion without prior notice
