The senior citizens of ours are to be taken care of by offering a good return for their savings as they are the most important segment of our society. That is why we have introduced Gaurawa account to offer a good return for their life time savings.

Gaurawa gives our account holders who are 60 years of age and over, an additional monthly interest.

What are the special features of Gaurawa?

• Interest is paid on monthly basis and the rate of Interest is higher than the normal monthly Interest paid on Fixed Deposit.

• The minimum deposit should be Rs.25, 000/- and the maximum deposit should be Rs: 5 million.

• Account holders who maintain an account balance of Rs. 100,000/- or more will have the option of joining a very advantageous Group Insurance Scheme under which they will be entitled for a reimbursement of surgical and hospital expenses (Indoor treatment only) up to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/- per year per member.

• The premium on the Group Insurance Scheme will be paid by the Bank at the time the account holder joins the Insurance Scheme and will be subsequently recovered with interest, in 12 monthly instalments from the monthly interest accruing to his/her account.

• Loans against fixed deposits will be granted on concessionary rate of interest.
